2013 Christmas Tariff (3 nights)
We like to think of our Christmases at The Priory as more of a house party, with traditional charm and old fashion courtesies …nothing too formal, other than impeccable service and hospitality. Your Christmas starts from the moment you arrive, when we will take care of everything so you can simply relax, unwind and enjoy. The festivities begin with a Champagne Reception on Christmas Eve between 7.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. when you are welcomed by your hosts, and family members, in the bedecked Drawing Room, with it’s open log fire and beautifully decorated Frazer Fir; a delightful musical accompaniment from our resident pianist. Champagne flutes of ‘bubbles’ will be served, together with delicious homemade canapés, as guests mingle and get to know one another.
Rooms are available for a minimum of 3 nights over the Christmas period, including 24, 25 and 26 December. Rates are for a 3 nights’ stay (total for 2 persons) and include Accommodation, Table D’Hote Dinner (from our selection of special Christmas menus), Champagne Reception on Christmas Eve, Full English Breakfast, Newspaper (subject to availability), and V.A.T. For guests wishing to stay longer, our normal room rates apply.

Room Facilities
The Priory Hotel’s eighteen guest rooms range from romantic suites in the Boathouse on the riverbank (with Jacuzzi/Spa baths), to smaller (but no less romantic) bedrooms overlooking the beautiful grounds, gardens and courtyard. Each room has been individually furnished to exude its own warmth and special charm using soft furnishing such as Mulberry chenille’s, Varanasi silks, Lewis and Wood Toile-du-Jouys, Sanderson linens, and Nina Campbell palettes (to name but a few). All guest rooms are equipped with Luxury Towelling Bathrobes, Molton Brown Toiletries, ‘Freeview’ Television (with built-in DVD/CD player), Telephone, Hair Dryer, WiFi/Broadband, Mineral Water, Fresh Fruit, Magazines and Books; most rooms also have a Mini Bar. As the hotel does not have a lift, access to our first and second floor bedrooms is via the stairs; access to our Abbots Cellar Restaurant is also via stairs.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £200.00 is required to secure every room reservation made for the Christmas period, together with a written letter of confirmation.
Cancellation Charges
In instances where the hotel is unable to re-let accommodation that is cancelled during the following months, a percentage of the total room tariff will be charged accordingly - October 50%, November 75%, and December 100%. We therefore strongly recommend the use of U.K. holiday insurance.
