Enjoy the tradition of Afternoon Tea at The Priory, served in the relaxed comfort of either The John Turner Room or on The River Terrace in the summertime. Our Afternoon Tea Menu is simply too tempting to resist from a pot of tea for two with homemade shortbread biscuits to a ‘Priory Ritzy Tea’ which can be taken with a glass of English Sparkling Wine if desired. Children aged 8 years and over are very welcome (exceptions are for private dining bookings in the John Turner Room).

Food allergies and intolerances: Before booking please speak to our staff about your requirements. Due to the design and nature of our Afternoon Teas, we can accommodate Vegetarian and gluten-free for our Ritzy Tea (not Savoury). We currently do not offer a vegan alternative.
