We partner with the wonderful Boat Club to offer our guests bespoke charters from the bottom of the garden. The Boat Club will pick you up and drop you back on a member of their luxury fleet for a special day on the water exploring what Poole Harbour and the infamous Jurassic Coast has to offer!
From Riverside Meditation, Sound Healing Sessions and Yoga, to Flower Arranging. We have regular events running throughout the months for you to enjoy. Our events and classes are available to book for staying guests and the local community.
Work up an appetite for dinner by taking our Priory paddle boards out for the day. Launch from one of our pontoons and meander gently along the river. Experience all the health benefits that Stand Up Paddle Boarding brings as part of your stay with us.

Reinvigorate the senses with a sea swim as part of your stay. We are fortunate enough to have some of the most beautiful coastline in the UK on our Dorset. Pack your Priory Beach Robes and head to Studland beach for a swim and sauna then snuggle up in your Priory Beach Robe for a refreshment at one of the beach cafes post swim.
Priory Beach Robes can be borrowed from Reception.

On our website you will find some more information about the local area. There is so much to see and do, you will just have to visit again!

One for our boating friends…
We have two 50 foot pontoons at the end of the garden for our guests to enjoy. You are welcome to stay overnight on your boat for a £15 mooring charge leaving you free to enjoy your lunch or dinner with us and head off in the morning (perhaps after a spot of breakfast) when the tide is right with a coffee to go.
Booking in advance is required to avoid disappointment.
Purbeck Safari is a local family-run tour business, offering a really unique way of exploring the Isle of Purbeck and discovering the beauty, magic and wildlife of this amazing part of Dorset. Join them for a unique experience, as they take you on safari to explore the stunning Purbeck Hills, harbour shores and rare lowland heaths in their iconic Land Rover Defender 4 x 4.
Purbeck Safari can pick you up and drop you off at the Priory.
