We asked you what you like to do in Dorset, so here are our recommendations based on what you said. Thank you to all of you that said a visit to us! We won’t include that 🙂

Walking and exploring

We are based on the South Coast of Dorset giving you direct access to the famous Jurassic Coast. You can walk for miles along beautiful beaches, cliff edges and fields. We are a short drive from some of our favourite beauty spots; Studland Beach, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Kimmeridge Bay.

Out at Sea

We are based on the Rive Frome, so the water is a big part of our Hotel. You can arrive by boat, moor up and enjoy lunch. For those travelling from farther afield, there are a number of ways you can enjoy Dorset by water.

Wareham Boathire

Located a short walk from the hotel, they provide everything from Stand Up Paddle boards to Motor boats for you to hire and enjoy a trip down the river. Our team would happily help arrange this for you as part of your stay.

Dorset Cruises

Keep a look out for Dorset Cruises events which often involve lunch with us as part of the trip. It is always very popular and sells out fast!

Food

We are lucky enough to have access to some incredible local and fresh produce. So it is no surprise that a traditional Fish and Chips by the sea is top of the list when it comes to things to do in Dorset. We would recommend a trip to Swanage or West Bay for a coastal lunch.

We could carry on for pages including local attractions and listing all the natural beauty spots we love (of which there are many), but we thoroughly recommend coming and seeing it for yourself when guidelines allow. Our team are ready and waiting to help you with your itinerary during your stay. We promise it will be worth it!
