All reservations must be confirmed in writing or guaranteed by credit/debit card, with guests’ full contact details.
A hotel reservation is a contract and we reserve the right to charge in full for cancellations (less than 7 days’ notice) or unfilled reservations. We therefore strongly recommend the use of UK holiday insurance.
When booking accommodation please advise us of any special requirements that will have a bearing on the type of accommodation required; please note we do not have any family rooms. The hotel is ‘Grade II Listed’ and as such all the accommodation and en-suite facilities vary in size and appointment. We accept children over 14 years of age (adult rates apply). Unfortunately, we do not accept dogs (guide dogs only by special arrangement).
The hotel does not have a lift. Our ‘Garden Restaurant’ is located on the ground floor and access to our 1st and 2nd floor bedrooms is via the stairs. Access to the Boathouse is via the garden.
Check-in is guaranteed between 3 and 4 p.m./Check-out prior to 11.00 a.m. (late departure may be possible subject to a charge).
Late arrivals, after 11.00 p.m., need to make arrangements with the hotel as the main entrance will be locked. Last orders for dinner are 9.30 p.m., after which time a ‘pre-ordered’, light-snack can be placed in your room on request.
Restaurant Opening Hours: Breakfast 7.30 a.m. – 9.30 a.m. (10.00 a.m. Sunday) – Lunch 12.30 p.m. – 1.45 p.m. – Dinner 6.45 p.m. – 9.30 p.m.
Special dietary requests catered for upon prior notification and consultation. We respectfully request that guests observe our minimum dress code of smart, casual clothing, when dining. Corkage is not available.
Secure parking is available in the hotel grounds and moorings are available for guests arriving by boat. Guests using these facilities do so at their own risk, as the hotel is not responsible for any damages incurred. The hotel
is not liable for guests’ personal belongings, unless deposited for safe keeping.
Please kindly note that we do not have any disabled bedrooms, and we are unable to accommodate pets.
We add a discretionary 5% Room Service Charge to your accommodation bill, which goes to all our team.
The hotel reserves the right to alter/change times and prices without prior notification.

If within 24 hours of making your reservation you find a lower available rate anywhere else online, we will be more than happy to match this lower rate.
