Welcome to our new website!

A lot has been happening over the past year at The Priory so we thought with the launch of our new website, we would tell you a bit about what we have been up to! In June last year (which is also when our 41st anniversary fell), we opened our new restaurant aptly named ‘The Garden Room’. If you haven’t dined with us yet, you can expect floor to ceiling windows with doors that fully open on balmy summer days to give you panoramic views of the main lawn and down to the river. To top it off we have installed luxury, Mulberry home fabric bespoke seating for that finishing touch.

Our Head Chef Stephen has also been very busy developing and adding new dishes to our menu to give our guests more culinary variety. Think Dover Sole fish and chips and Chateaubriand for two. We will be bringing you recipes from our kitchen via our blog, so keep your eyes peeled for those! We will update Facebook and Instagram when a new blog post is added, so be sure to follow us!

To round of a year of change and building work, we decided to rearrange our ground floor layout to create a new Reception area that flows through to the restaurant via a glass walkway with exposed original stone walls and parquet wooden floors. You can now expect an open space with comfortable seating with views into the garden whilst you are checking in or out.

Lastly, you will notice we have had a bit of a facelift! New signage around the hotel has been installed to match our new website that we have just launched! This is really exciting as we can now keep you up to date with special offers that we have running. These are only available directly through booking with us by phone or through our site, so be sure to keep an eye out as they do change from time to time!
